Coin Backtest ("the Site") is designed to work without collecting personal information. This policy explains what data is and is not processed when you use the Site.

1. Information we do not collect

  • No accounts, no registration — we never ask for your name, email or any identifier.
  • Your strategies and backtest results are computed in your browser and are never sent to our servers.
  • We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties.

2. Data stored on your device

The Site uses browser storage strictly for functionality, on your device only:

  • localStorage — your last strategy configuration and language preference, so they persist between visits.
  • IndexedDB — cached candle data files, so repeat backtests load instantly.

You can clear both at any time via your browser's site-data settings; the Site keeps working.

3. Third-party requests

  • Binance API — when you run a backtest, your browser requests recent public candle data directly from api.binance.com. Binance may see your IP address as with any web request; no personal or strategy data is included.
  • Hosting (Vercel) — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be processed by our hosting provider for security and operation.

4. Advertising and cookies

The Site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

5. Analytics

The Site currently uses no analytics service. If one is added, this policy will be updated first.

6. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data from anyone.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
